Alexander Operenyi is a partner and heads the M&A practice group together with Johannes Lutterotti. He has more than 20 years of professional and advisory experience in (cross-border) M&A trans-actions (sell-side and buy-side in all facets), joint ventures, corporate law, and business law. He joined JWO as a partner in 2014. For 9 years he was at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Attorneys at Law in Vienna and London. Before that he was at Kafka Palkovits Knirsch Fellner Braun Attorneys at Law.

He is fluent in German and English.

Waldviertler Sparkasse Bank AG transferred its Czech retail and corporate customer business to Česká spořitelna, a.s. as of January 1, 2021. The sale was approved by the relevant national competition authorities in four countries and the Czech National Bank.
