We advise companies of all sizes and across all industries on complex competition law and antitrust-related issues. Our practice focuses on advising and representing clients in cartel investigations and proceedings concerning the abuse of market power before competition authorities. In this context, we also help companies in navigating unannounced inspections (“dawn raids”) by authorities and advise them on the application of leniency programs. We work in close coordination with Deloitte’s experienced Risk, Regulatory & Forensic team.

In the area of private competition law enforcement, we represent companies in connection with private claims regarding the violation of competition law rules before the Austrian Cartel Court (cease-and-desist orders, declaratory decisions, preliminary injunctions). Furthermore, we regularly act for clients in the field of cartel damages litigation before ordinary civil courts.

A particular focus of our competition law practice lies in the areas of compliance and prevention. We help companies with structuring distribution systems and cooperation agreements with other market participants (such as joint purchasing or joint production agreements, R&D agreements, bidding consortia, and joint ventures). In addition, we assist companies in developing, implementing, and reviewing customized competition law compliance programs and support them in conducting internal investigations and risk analyses. Our close collaboration with Deloitte’s experienced Risk, Regulatory & Forensic team enables us to provide our clients with comprehensive support and to draw on cutting-edge forensic technologies.
