The IP/IT practice skillfully exploits the advantages of the cooperation between the entire firm and Deloitte Legal. Particularly in IT and data protection law advice, which is one of its main areas of focus, valuable contacts are established through joint projects. Most recently, for example, with RBI or two foundations of Erste Bank, for which the team supported the launch of a health app. However, Sascha Jung, who was appointed Equity Partner in 2023, is also promoting the reputation of the practice independently of the Deloitte network. For example, the German news magazine ‘Der Spiegel’ once again relied on his litigation tactics in a copyright and competition law dispute. The team has also gained new clients in trademark law advice and administration, including the real estate giant Buwog.
