Austria has the most expensive new-build apartments in Europe, according to JWO | Deloitte Legal Austria
According to this year’s “Deloitte Property Index”, which analyzes 27 countries, Austria has the second-highest property prices for privately financed new-build apartments in a country comparison, with an average of EUR 4,925 per square meter in 2022. “Property prices in Austria have risen slightly compared to the last study. At the same time, demand on the housing market has fallen,” says Gabriele Etzl, partner and real estate expert at JWO | Deloitte Legal Austria.
