Public and regulatory law covers the aspect of public law that is of particular importance to the economy.
Our national public regulatory law and administrative criminal law is not only influenced by our national constitution. Since joining the EU, it is above all EU primary and secondary law that increasingly determines our domestic economic legal system.
This is due to the establishment of new areas of law, such as regulatory law for energy and rail transport, or environmental impact assessments for special national projects, as well as the influence on other nationally important areas of law, such as public procurement law or public banking and capital market law.
In terms of subject matters, public commercial law is like a “jungle of norms” through which we are able to assist you. It includes constitutional law (e.g. fundamental economic rights), EU law (e.g. fundamental freedoms), environmental law, plant law, commercial professional law, regulatory law, municipal representation law, and much more.
